Academic & Professional Profile

22+ Years Experience Ph.D. | Researcher

Dr.V.Chandrasekaran received his B.E. Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Kongu Engineering College, Perundurai in 2001 and his M.Tech Degree in Communication Systems from SASTRA University in 2004. From 2004 to 2006, he worked as a Lecturer in the Department of ECE at Maharaja Engineering College, Avinashi. He completed his Doctoral Programme at Anna University in 2014.

From 2006 to 2024, he was with the Velalar College of Engineering and Technology, Erode, Tamilnadu, India, where he served as a Professor and Head of the Department of Medical Electronics. He is currently the Principal of Kongu Polytechnic College, Perundurai. He is an Anna University-recognized Ph.D. supervisor; under his guidance, 3 scholars have completed their Ph.D. and 9 scholars are currently pursuing their research.

Dr. Chandrasekaran is a life member of IETE, ISTE, ISSE, and BMESI. He has published numerous papers in national and international journals and conferences, and has contributed to various patents, book chapters, and books. His academic and research interests include Wireless Networks, 5G Networks, Signal Processing, Media Access Control, and Networking Protocols.
