About The Campus
Kongu Polytechnic College is a technical educational institution located at Perundurai(Erode -Dt), Tamil Nadu, India. The college offers a variety of diploma programs in engineering and technology fields, such as civil engineering, mechanical engineering, and computer science. The curriculum is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in the principles of their chosen field, as well as practical skills and hands-on experience through internships and projects. The college also has a range of facilities and resources to support student learning, including modern classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, and a library.

Post Office & Bank
A full-fledged Karur Vysya Bank branch is functioning inside our campus. 3 ATMs are available. Students and faculty can use banking services for fee payment and personal use both inside and outside the campus.
Dispensary
Our campus dispensary covers 1450 sq.ft with two beds. Medical professionals care for students and staff. 3 ambulances are available on campus to handle emergencies efficiently.
Driving School
Operated by the Mechanical Engineering Department, our Driving School provides two-wheeler and four-wheeler training. License certification is available for our students and sister institution members.

Dr.V.Chandrasekaran
Principal, Kongu Polytechnic College
22+ Years Experience Ph.D. | ResearcherDr.V.Chandrasekaran received his B.E. Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Kongu Engineering College, Perundurai in 2001 and his M.Tech Degree in Communication Systems from SASTRA University in 2004. From 2004 to 2006, he worked as a Lecturer in the Department of ECE at Maharaja Engineering College, Avinashi. He completed his Doctoral Programme at Anna University in 2014.
From 2006 to the present, he has been with the Velalar College of Engineering and Technology, Erode, Tamilnadu, India, where he currently serves as a Professor and Head of the Department of Medical Electronics. He is an Anna University-recognized Ph.D. supervisor; under his guidance, 3 scholars have completed their Ph.D. and 9 scholars are currently pursuing their research.
Dr. Chandrasekaran is a life member of IETE, ISTE, ISSE, and BMESI. He has published numerous papers in national and international journals and conferences, and has contributed to various patents, book chapters, and books. His academic and research interests include Wireless Networks, 5G Networks, Signal Processing, Media Access Control, and Networking Protocols.
